Second Day of Assotech Carnival organised
A range of events were organised in the Assotech Carnival being organised at the Aqua World on Friday. A fashion show organized by the Fashion Design Department of Ranchi Women's College stole the show.The purpose of this fashion show is to raise awareness of the tourist destinations of Jharkhand The model was catalyzed by the banner of places like Dashm Fall, Netarhat, Betla, Rajappa, Parasnath, etc. In the second round of fashion show, models did catwalks on 'Save Girl Child' theme. A large number of children took part in fancy dress competition. Someone came as Kanhaiyya, someone as Chhota Bhim, ghost, superman etc. Women also enjoyed the Golgappa Eating Competition a lot of women in the competition. The theme of today's outfit compilation was red color and a large number of people came in red color. In the direction of Rajiv Sinha, the drama 'Yamraj On Duty', based on Road Safety, was also organized by Jharkhand Film and Theater Academy.
Birth anniversary of Sri Sri Sharda Devi
The 166th birth anniversary of Sri Sri Sharda devi was celebrated blissfully at Ramkrishna Mission Ashram Ranchi on Friday. Ved mantras, Mangal Arti, havans and bhajans were the offerings to this auspicious day. Ashram secretary Swami Bhaveshanand shared glimpses about Sri Sri Sharda Devi’s life and her devotion towards the humanity. He elaborated the sayings of Sri Sri and said that one should always remember god in every situation of life, for this pacifies the soul. Brahmin Ajay Chaitanya, Brahmin Rajiv Chaitanya and Swami Prempurnatmanand enchanted the mantras. The occasion was graced by the presence of Swami Lokpalanand, Swami Antaranand and others.
