City based Amrita Family Health Centre has announced that it has launched Viromune herbal and zinc tablet for markets in India. The tablet is an evidence based bio active for natural immunity in a combination of zinc that boosts antiviral activity and protection against Covid 19.

State BJP president Deepak Prakash today launched the capsules at Ranchi Press Club.

Noted practitioner of Integrative Medicine, Dr Suresh Kumar Agarwalla has developed a very effective medicine extracted out of seven Indian herbal plants and a metal that has not only cured over 200 Covid patients in 20 cities of 11 states but is also helping others for protection from pandemic plaguing the World.

Agarwala said, "The herbal plants which are used in preparing the medicine are indigenous and easily available at villages. Kaalmegh, a medicinal plant, is easily available at villages especially at tribal villages and has anti-viral properties. Similarly herbal plants such as Amrita, Neem, Tulsi, Haldi and other plants are used in preparing the medicine."

However, Agarwala claimed that the medicine is not against corona but it will boost the immunity of persons.

On the launch of medicine, State BJP president Deepak Prakash said that Agarwala who is an allopathic medical practitioner has carried forward the Ayurvedik medicine.

Prakash said, "India has a long and strong tradition of Ayurveda medicines. I am happy that Agarwalla despite being an allopathic medical practitioner has done research in ayurvedic medicines."

Highlighting the features of Ayurveda medicines, Prakash said that the strength of Ayurvedic medicines can be gauged from the fact that despite large population and high density the recovery rate in India is much better than US and European countries.

Agarwala with an MS degree in Surgery has been working on Indian medical plants for the past 30 years. His special research subject, on which he wrote his thesis was on evaluation of the immune system in cancer patients. He has been interested in medicinal plants since his student life.

Agarwalla claimed that though the medicine is not a drug for corona but it will act in boosting the immune system. "For corona treatment and management we need three things. First the medicine should control or kill or control the virus. Secondly, it should improve the immune system. And third it should repair the damage caused by the virus. Based on these scientific rationales I selected seven plants and one metal that is zinc."

Agarwalla claimed that the medicine was developed for his personal use, but later it was distributed to others after successful trials. Initially, Agarwalla produced the medicine for his son coming from New Jersey during the corona pandemic period, but after a successful trial it was distributed to others too.
