A diagnosis training programme was jointly organised by Indian Medical Association, Women’s Wing, USA-based Service Beyond Border and State Health Department at Sadar Hospital, Garhwa for gynaecologists posted in State-run hospitals of Garhwa and Daltonganj. In this camp, the doctors were told about Visual inspection of cervix with acetic acid (VIA Test).

We intend to ensure that one gynaecologist proficient in VIA Test is present at every Primary Health Centre of the State and one coloposcopy test expert is present at every Sadar Hospital, stated IMA Women’s Wing Chairperson Dr Bharti Kashyap.

Following this, Health Minister Ramchandra Chandravanshi will inaugurate two free VIA screening and colposcopy diagnostic camps at Sadar Hospital of Garhwa and Daltonganj on Sunday and Monday respectively.
