Hazaribag Deputy Commissioner Nancy Sahay clearly instructed on Wednesday that the illegal stone crushing of stones must be stopped in the district. The team members of the constituted cell must raid such places on a regular basis.
The DC was reviewing the progress of the district level task force committee. She further said that it can be possible with the proper coordination of different departments and every department must update their work on a daily basis.
She further said that the team must be watchful on such places where illegal stone crushing has been stopped that the persons again will not start the work. To avoid such a situation the team members must be checked such places on the regular basis.
She said that the team members must be well equipped with sufficient forces so that any reverse situation can be faced during the raids. She directed the executive engineer to remove the transformers near the places of the stone crushing spot.
The transport and the environment department also took strict action against the owner of the illegal stone crushing persons and seized the items which are used in the crushing.
In the meeting SP Manoj Rattan Chothey, DDC Prerna Dixit, sadar SDO Vidya Bhusan Kumar, Barhi SDM Poonam Kujur, district mining officer Ajit Kumar along with police officers and the circle officers and block development officers were present.
