Inspector General of police of Bokaro Range Asim Vikrant Minz conducted a high level meeting with DIG North Chotanagpur Range along with all seven districts' Superintendents of Police and other higher officials on Ramnavmi festival.
The meeting was conducted in the seminar hall of Hazaribag office. In the meeting the Bokaro IG was apprised of all information regarding Ramnavmi. Minz said that the guidelines of the State Government must be followed in letter and spirit during the procession.
Hazaribag Range DIG Narendra Singh and SP Manoj Ratan Chothey said that they have been continually taking action against such persons who have criminal background. They further said that they have imposed section 107 on more than five thousand persons in the different police stations of Hazaribag district.
The IG instructed officials to keep a close eye on sensitive and super sensitive
areas of every district. He also took the stock of the preparation in Giridih, Chatra, Koderma and Ramgarh districts.
After the meeting the IG said that he has reviewed all seven districts' preparation for Ramnavmi. He said that he has
instructed to take strict action against anti-social elements.
He further said that the police also check the comments on the social
media platform.
