In order to find out a tax evasion, the Income Tax sleuths conducted search and seizure operations at five premises in coal capital Dhanbad on Friday.
Search and Survey operations were simultaneously launched in the five premises of different Gold ornaments and cloth merchants early morning, IT sleuths informed.
“Huge undisclosed incomes are detected during the search and survey operations, which are still continued”, added the official.
The search and seizure operations are launched at Chetan Ornaments, Swarna Ganga and three premises of Chourasia brothers.
Confirming about the tax evasion Income Tax official said, “In prima facie undisclosed amount of several lakhs rupees found during the operations”. Huge number of incriminating documents, bank lockers, Banks account,
statements have been sized, operations are still ‘on’, added the official.
