Hzb voters have been cheated: Mishra

AK targets total transformation of constituency

In 80s he went to Delhi for higher studies, in early 90s started a coaching institute there, gradually the institute flourished and now Chanakya IAS Academy is a well known name among the civil service aspirants. The people now call him Success Guru. An impressive orator cum motivator Arun Kumar Mishra is back to home and wants to go to Delhi again but in a different role and different purpose. The Pioneer talked with JVM’s candidate for Hazaribagh Parliamentary constituency AK Mishra about his entry in politics, strategies, manifesto etc.

Why did you came back to HazaribaghIJ

Hazaribagh is my birthplace. I always thought of doing something for my birthplace and in 2011 opened a branch of Chanakya Academy for the poor but meritorious youths of Hazaribagh and surrounding areas.

Why you chose to join politics and then the Jharkhand Vikash MorchaIJ

From Delhi whenever I came here, it always pinched me that Hazaribagh is not developing as the other towns of the country are developing. I can say that all the peoples’ representatives of both parliaments and Assemblies have cheated the voters of Hazaribagh so far. I decided to join politics to change the scenario and as per my opinion and public opinion joined Babulal Marandi’s JVM.

Now you are a candidate, why the people will vote for youIJ

I am telling to the people of this constituency that please first go through the qualification, achievements and background of the candidate, then think upon his party and then on his promises, before voting. And I am sure that people will vote for me.

Whom do you think will be your rival in this electionIJ

I can’t say. (He also refused to comment anything on the rival candidates)

Your party has its manifesto but what is your manifesto for HazaribaghIJ

Constituency is big and in some areas even basic amenities are lacking. It will be my priority to arrange the basic amenities in my constituency. I want total transformation of the constituency and education will play a vital role in it. The courses available here can produce unemployed youths only while I want job oriented courses and for employment industries too.

You had given several motivational lectures to the youths of Hazaribagh but what will you say to get their votesIJ

I am not going to say anything new to the youths of Hazaribagh. In my lectures I have always told them that try hard not only to get a job but to become self-employed and capable of giving job to others.

I will only add that choose your MP cautiously because future policies are decided in the parliament.
