SP Manoj Kaushik has ordered all police officers to remain vigilant during Durga Puja and the rest of the festive season.
He directed all DSPs, Inspectors and OICs to keep a close eye on anti-social elements, who try to disturb communal harmony during festival season. Criminals out on bail are to be kept under vigilance and absconding criminals nabbed.
The police meeting decided on increasing patrolling, further deployment at sensitive spots and intensifying action against Naxal activities. DSP Satish Chandra Jha, Ratneshwar Thakur, Arvind Kumar Singh, Vinod Kumar Sinha, Inspectors SA Samshi, Alok Kumar and OICs of almost all police stations were present.
