A Birhore young couple died as its house fell on the two in Hazaribagh on Monday. The bodies of the two were found amid the debris in the Sijjuabirhore colony, Ichak block of Hazaribagh district on Tuesday. Ichak BDO reached there and enquired into the matter on Tuesday, while police took the bodies and sent for postmortem.
According to the villagers in Sijjaua village due to regular rain the house was into very poor condition. The man and the woman were in the house and their four-year-old baby was playing in the ground. Suddenly the house started falling from the roof, they did not get the time to be out from the house. The name of died couple are Binod Birhore (27), Anjali Birhore (24).
The other villagers of their community rushed to the hose they found the bodies of couple were amidst the debris. The villagers immediately informed to the block officer regarding the incident.
The Block Development Officer of Ichak block Usha Minz immediately rushed to the spot and cleared the wreckage. She informed to the Ichak police and took the couple bodies in the custody and sent to sadar hospital for the postmortem.
The BDO Ichak said that all the compensation will be given to the dependent according to the government provision. She assured to the villagers to make the possible arrangements for the further education and other facilities to their minor daughter.
Regarding the incident the deputy commissioner of Hazaribag Ravi Shankar Shukla said that as per the report of BDO Ichak, it was an incidental death. As per the report they were sitting under the roof of old community hall, a portion of roof was fallen on Binod and his wife Anjali was died due to the death of husband. “We will try our best to provide all the facilities according to the provision,” he said.
