The much awaited tour of Jharkhand by Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will see the latest technique of interaction being adopted by him nowadays.

In a detailed exchange of idea with tribal women, youths and religious leaders from different walks of life the Gandhi scion would choose a gallery like arena at ITDC-run Hotel Ashoka that has been selected as venue.

The State Congress, in its effort to welcome Rahul, is in the process of finalising names coming in large numbers from different groups which are expected to have 2,500 to 3,000 persons each. "He will be interacting with tribal women belonging to some Non Government Organisations (NGOs) , intellectual groups, from social sectors and even from villages. Youths would alsos be from inside and outside the Congress.

The final programme and details would be sent to his office by tomorrow for his approval," said lal Kishore Shahdeo of PCC. The party is reportedly getting huge number of applications from people willing to have interaction with Rahul Gandhi during his February 7 visit.  Though, it is proving a tough call for the State unit to finalise names and accommodate few more interactions like with party workers and block presidents.

"Earlier it was a two-day trip which has been curtailed for one day. Pressure is too much on us from people," said Ajay Rai of media cell. The party is also paying importance to his 90 km road show, starting from Hazaribagh to Ranchi which would be the only public interaction of Rahul in the wake of lok Sabha polls due in May, 2014 in Jharkhand. Several spots have been identified in the way where he would stop for a while and share views with the common people.

In the meanwhile, SPG personnel have arrived Ranchi and are reviewing the venue and other necessary security arrangements.
