Patients of heart trouble, diabetes, renal failure etc will not be able to avail of the medical assistance from the Hospital Train which is arriving here on Daltonganj railway station on August 2.
Project manager of this Hospital Train V Gupta said hospital train will provide medical services for ailments of eye, ears, epilepsy, cancer, cleft up, dental, orthopaedic, polio corrective upto 14 years of age and general awareness about family health.
Gupta agreed that there is no facility for heart patients, diabetes and renal ones too. Sources said there will be no registration for these three categories of patients for assistance from the hospital train. Registration and treatment will be all free.
Hospital Train will start providing medical services on/from August 3 till August 19.
Patients reaching Hospital Train will not have to buy any platform ticket. Surgery includes oral cancer, breast cancer and cataract.
DC Palamu Ameet Kumar said operated upon patients would convalesce in the town hall here where food and lodging will come free.
The DC said the patients will be taken care of in case of complication arising in the operated upon patients after this Hospital Train departs from here on August 19 or 20 to which a visibly angry.
