It has been seen that residents of the state suffering from cancer prefer to go other States for treatment instead of Curie-Abdul Razzaque Ansari Cancer Institute of Ranchi which is fully-equipped with techniques to fight against cancer.
The reason behind this is sighted that lack of awareness among the Jharkhand people is forcing them to check out for other hospitals hailing in different states of the country. Dr Aftab Alam Ansari MBBS, MD, Consultant Radiation Oncologist said, “In Ranchi we have best institute for cancer patient but people are not aware about it. Though we organize various camps in different parts of the state yet we are not able to reach among majority of population. As media has larger approach among the mass so we urge them to help us in generating awareness among the residents.”
