Intelligence sleuths of State are to file a confidential report on the behaviour, attitude and mental disposition of the surrendered zonal commander of the CPI Maoist outfit Ayenul Miyan alias Govind ji (45), who is serving his judicial custody in the open jail in Hazaribag since 2017 when he had surrendered to law in Daltonganj.

Sources said this report which is to be filed by state special branch an intelligence outfit is most essential before clearing dues of surrender money to any ultra.

SP Palamu Ajay Linda said, “The state reserves all the rights to get reassured that surrendered extremists serving their judicial custody are in no way showing any sign of distraction or digression but with days, weeks and years their resolution and commitment to remain glued to mainstream of life gets stronger and stronger.”

“Any wavering or flickering of their resolution to remain attached to normal lawful life can put the surrendered naxals in trouble.

Special branch files detailed report on the behavior and attitude of the surrendered naxals in judicial custody.” reminded Linda.

Govind ji has his outstanding dues worth 4 lakhs, which come to him following his surrender. He had carried 10 lakhs on his head which he got on the day of his surrender in 2017. He then got an additional one lakh.

Linda said the new state surrender policy for naxal is that surrender money is not to come in just one stroke but within a gap of time.

He said he would ask sleuths of special branch to file a report on Govind ji. Sarwari Khatoon wife of this surrendered naxal has petitioned DC Palamu for payment of her husband’s dues.

DC Shantanu Kumar Agrahari said, “I have directed our General Section (Samanya Shakha) to take up this petition of the wife of Ayenul Miyan alias Govind ji.”

Sources said the General Section has written a request to SP Palamu for a report on Aeynul Miyan by special branch.

Sarwari Khatoon is living with her children in Daltonganj’s Paharee Mohalla and she has maintained I her petition to DC that she finds it too hard to meet expenses of her children’s education.
