The Hazaribag Municipal Corporation for the first time conducted its court hearing in the office of town commissioner. The office had sent five notices to different parties, but only two parties turned up in the court. The corporation office has issued show cause notices to those parties, who were not turned in the court.
The town commissioner Prerna Dixit said that we have received more than hundred complaints regarding the construction of houses and apartments without passing maps from the corporation office.
We have formed a team to check that the construction of houses in the town area is being done after passing of maps or without it. On the report of the team we have decided to issue notices to such house owners who were constructing buildings without passing the map from the corporation.
The court has decided to issue the show cause notice to all the three parties who were absent in the court. One party was doing the construction work after expiry of the valid date. The court has imposed one lakh rupees fine on the party. The second party that was in the court after listening to the arguments that court has instructed to the party not to do the construction work out of the authorized area. The court has given them one week's time to act according to the instruction otherwise strict action will be taken on the party.
The town commissioner has appealed to the public of the Hazaribag town to construct the building after passing the map from the corporation office, otherwise, a case will be registered in the corporation court.
