Ranchities prefer their summer vacation in cooler places where they can get relief from this scorching heat. Earlier Ranchi was an appropriate hill station but now the scenario is such that people are looking for other hill stations to spend quality time with their families.
Different hill stations across the country are becoming the first priority of the city people as their summer vacation spot because the climatic condition in most of these hill stations remain mild cold during the months of May till September.
Darjeeling, Gangtok, Kullu, Manali, Jammu and Kashmir have become famous outing destination in summer, by mid of May all the schools and colleges will be shut, the end of May is the peak time when the families turn out for their vacation trip.
People are flocking ticket booking counters of Railway stations and bus stops. Many of them are knocking down to different travelling agencies for their bookings. These travelling agencies are also alluring the people by providing them attractive tour packages within their budget.
Owner of e-perk holiday travelling agency, Anshul Singh said, “Due to increasing heat the city people are looking for hill stations as their outing destination we have maximum booking for Jammu and Kashmir 25 families up till date have booked for this place”.
Kamal Kumar, of Zenith leisure holidays said, “In our agency we have maximum booking for places like Darjeeling, Gangtok and Neterhat as these places are nearby and enjoying their weekend in these spaces are within their budget as the maximum customers belong to lower middle class group so within Rs 1400 they can spend a happy weekend with their family.”
Ashok Jain, a businessman planning for a summer vacation said, “ I am planning a weekend at Darjeeling and Gangtok with my family as these places are famous as a tourist place and basically its climatic condition is the favorable to enjoy a great holiday time with my family.”
