The Jharkhand High Court on Friday allowed the writ petition initiated by Chairman of the Youth Commission Chandrabhushan Jha against the dissolution of Youth Commission formed by the then Munda Government.

The Youth Commission was dissolved by the Governor after the State was put under President's Rule after the fall of the Munda Government in January this year. "The writ petition filed by President of the Youth Commission Chandrabhushan Jha was on Friday allowed by the court of Justice Apresh Kumar Singh. The court observed that no order or notice could be issued without giving any reason as the doctrine of pleasure does not apply here," said Jha's advocate Rajeev Ranjan.

Meanwhile, expressing happiness over the decision, Chandrabhushan Jha said that the work of the commission had hit a roadblock due to the dissolution. "We have to compensate the work that has remained pending in the last six months. The commission will work for the interest of the youth and the State," he said.

The Youth commission was formed on January 8 by the Arjun Munda Government which was dissolved by the Governor in the month of February. The writ was filed on February 21 against its dissolution.
