The Jharkhand Police has sounded a high alert in the wake of CPI (Maoists) bandh called in five States — including Jharkhand — effective from Saturday midnight.
The CPI (Maoist) will observe Martyrs’ Week between July 28 and August 3 and have called bandh in five States. Security forces have been instructed to remain on strict vigil across the State, especially on sensitive areas and railway security has also been increased.
