Taking potshots at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his comments that the BJP will provide freedom from dynastic politics to the people of the State, Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday said that the BJP leaders too were guilty of dynastic politics.
Addressing a public meeting at Football Ground of Adityapur, Soren said that before making such statements the Prime Minister must think twice because several of saffron party’s leaders’ own sons and family members are holding important posts in the party and are either MPs or MlAs.
“The BJP has no right to accuse any other party of dynastic politics because the party is equally responsible for promoting dynastic politics in the country,” noted Soren.
He also accused the Prime Minister of selling dreams to the people for the sake of power. “The Union Government is making fool of people by making big promises. The people of Jharkhand can never be fooled of such claims and they will vote JMM in this election,” he claimed.
Soren said that his Government has brought the State on the path of development during his 14 months tenure of Chief Minister.
He went on to add that the people of Jharkhand will vote on the basis of his performance and he is confident to win in the elections.
The Chief Minister noted that our party’s vision is making Jharkhand a developed State. The manifesto also talks about education to all in the State apart from promising various administrative reforms including use of e-governance to handle the functioning of various departments of the State Government.
“We will be promoting agriculture and industry together. We want to build basic infrastructure in the State apart from improved health-care facilities,” said Soren.
JMM candidate from Seraikela Champai Soren also addressed the meeting and highlighted his achievements during his tenure.
