Heavy Engineering Corporation ltd (HEC) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Concerned Tractor Plant 'Chetra' located at Cheboksary, Russia for assembly production of bulldozers and crane-pipelayers of different models for sale in Indian market through joint cooperation. Initially the equipments will be brought in knock down condition which gradually will have manufacturing of certain portion at HEC.
Also it has been agreed that the company Concerned Tractor Plant 'Chetra' will also find possibility of sale of HEC make excavators in Russian market through their sales network. This will help HEC to have additional product line as well as export possibility to increase its business turn over. The said MoU has been signed by Abhijit Ghosh, CMD, HEC and Mikhail G.Bolton, President of Chetra Group at Cheboksary, Russia on 24th March 2015. It may here be mentioned that HEC team led by Avijit Ghosh, CMD along with Kushal Saha, Director Production, N.K.Singh and J.Mukherjee are visiting Russia for exploring business opportunities and technological collaboration with various companies at Russia.
