HEC limited has bagged order worth Rs 124 crores for supplying four numbers of 10 CuM Electric Rope Shovel from Mahanadi Coalfields limited. HEC had received last order for supply of 10 CuM Shovels in 2004.
Shovel is a powerful, rugged and sophisticated crawler mounted electric powered rope shovel with bucket of 10 CuM Capacity. This shovel manufactured by HEC has high productivity, less maintenance, long operation life, eco friendly, lower operating cycle and low power consumption.
HEC has manufactured and supplied 30 numbers of 10 CuM Shovels in the past. These shovels have been working satisfactorily in various coal companies for the last 30 years. The first 10 CuM Shovel was manufactured, supplied and commissioned by HEC in the year 1985 at SECl, Kushmunda. HEC is the only indigenous manufacturer and supplier of 10 CuM Electric Rope Shovel.
