Minister of Health, Ramchandra Chandravanshi on Tuesday visited centre of Vikas Bharti at Ranchi to take stock of various health related projects run by the institution across Jharkhand. The Minister said basic infrastructure in health services sector will be improved, additional doctors will be recruited, additional medicines will be purchased to ensure availability of health services to the people.
Chandravanshi said Vikas Bharti is working in health services sector from a long time and it will strengthen Mobile Medical Units run under NUlM to provide health services to poor people. The institution is running a 50-bedded hospital in East Singhbhum and Jeevanjyoti Aarogya Niketan besides several other health projects. Secretary, Vikas Bharti, Ashok Bhagat; former president IMA, Dr Ajay Singh were among others present on the occasion.
