Health Minister Banna Gupta has been tested positive for Covid-19. In a Tweet on Saturday, he informed his followers that since he wasn’t feeling well for a few days he got tested for Covid and was declared positive. He has been isolated in his house. Gupta’s office stated that he is fine now, his health remains stable and is isolated at his residence in Jamshedpur. He has also appealed to all those who have come in contact with him since the last few days to get their Covid test done. Along with this, he has urged people to follow the Covid protocols. Notably, this is the second time that the Health Minister has tested Covid positive. Before this, he was tested positive for Covid in August of 2021 and had to be admitted to RIMS for about a week. The Minister has also received both doses of the corona vaccine.
