Health Minister Banna Gupta on Thursday inaugurated the newly constructed Block Community Center at Pirtand in Giridih district, where Giridih DC Naman Priyesh Lakda and Giridih MLA Sudivya Kumar Sonu welcomed him.
The Health Minister said on the occasion that it is our endeavour to provide better health facilities to the people. The state government is making efforts to strengthen and improve the health facilities so that the people of the state can get good health facilities.
He said that with the introduction of CHC, it would be convenient for the people of nearby Naxal-affected areas to get treatment and they would not have to travel to the headquarters time and again. He said that the first priority of the state government and the district administration is that the patients should get proper medical and check-up facilities on time.
The Health Minister inspected the Covid Care Center, RTPCR Lab, PSA Plant Ward, Covid Testing Center and other resources and gave necessary guidelines to the concerned officials. Meanwhile, Gupta said that now corona can be tested in Giridih itself, for which the RTPR lab has been set up. Along with this, tests for dengue, chicken pox, measles, chikungunya and rabies will also be done. Now the report will not have to wait long and will not have to go round other districts. He said that the health systems are being simplified so that the people of the district can be provided better health facilities in their own district.
Gupta said that children between 09 months to 15 years must get MR vaccine. Along with this, the outbreak of Covid in the country is also increasing, so everyone needs to be alert. Mock drill has been done in all the districts for the prevention of Covid infection.
Giridih DC Naman Priyesh Lakda said that the district administration and the state government are working together to strengthen and improve the health facilities. With the inauguration of CHC, common people will get the benefit of health facilities easily. Every possible effort is being made by the district administration to provide better and better medical facilities to the people so that people do not face any problem.
