Terming it unfortunate that the investment of crores of rupees by State Government is yet not giving any benefit to the common people of North Chotanagpur region due to lack of some minor equipment and other requirements, Health Minister Ramchandra Chandravansi issued some instructions to the authorities.
“Today (Sunday) I have ordered the Civil Surgeon to give me the list of requirements which will be fulfilled within a week and after a week the people will start getting benefit of regional hospital and trauma centre built here in Sadar Hospital premises,” said Chandravanshi after inspecting the Sadar Hospital of Hazaribagh on Sunday.
The Minister was here to participate in a program. Since the district administration and hospital administration was aware of his program so Sadar Hospital premise was ready for his visit. As per the speculations, the Minister visited the hospital in the noon after attending his pre-scheduled program. He started from the OPD and then visited almost all the departments and wings of Sadar Hospital.
Though the hospital administration had made all the arrangements to satisfy the Minister but their efforts went in vain when Chandravanshi started talking with the admitted patients and their friends and relatives. Within minutes everything became clear to him and when he started querying with the Civil Surgeon, hospital superintendent and manager about the complaints, became angry with their unsatisfactory replies.
“Maintain the arrangements regularly which you all have made today to impress me because I will take regular report of this hospital from my party workers from tomorrow onwards. I am ready to give you everything you need but will not tolerate any complaint in future,” said Chandravanshi. He authorised MlA Manish Jaiswal to make surprise visits of the premises on his behalf.
Talking to the doctors posted at Sadar Hospital, Hazaribagh, Health Minister Chandravanshi clearly said that the government is not going to tolerate their private practices at duty time and those who will be found guilty will be punished. Doctors also put their demands and problems before the minister who assured them that soon the government is going to fulfill their some major and much awaited demands.
During this visit of health minister MlA Sadar Manish Jaiswal, district BJP President Tunnu Gope and a good number of BJP workers were in the hospital premises. During minister’s talk with patients and their attendants the BJP workers remained active to bring the truth before the minister.
