The Jharkhand High Court on Friday upheld the eviction order passed by the Estate Court on Plot R2 in August 2019. The order was earlier also upheld by the District and Sessions Court Bokaro in March 2021. Thereafter, the concerned party was issued a notice on 12 March 2021 asking to vacate the illegal construction but in view of the serious situation of Covid in the month of April and May, further proceedings were stopped by the Estate Court for some time.

Regarding the eviction of plot R2 after obtaining permission from the district administration when the situation of Covid improved, Hindustan Auto Agency was re-issued order on 23 June to remove the illegal construction before 28 June followed by on the spot action on 28 June Teams of Estate Court and Security Department reached for the same.

In the midst of all this, on March 18, the Hindustan Auto Agency filed an appeal against the order of the Estates Court in the High Court of Jharkhand, which was heard on June 28. After the hearing, the court reserved the order on the matter. On July 2, the High Court, passing the order in the Nexa Showroom case, dismissed the writ petition filed by Hindustan Auto.
