The Jharkhand High Court has directed Director in Chief, Health, Dr Sumant Mishra and Director Bl Sherwal of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) to appear physically before it on July 28 in a contempt case filed by Assistant Nursing Superintendent Nilima Runda.
“The Court of Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh has directed both the Director in Chief and Director to appear before it on July 28,” said petitioner’s advocate Subhashish Soren.
The contempt petition was filed when the order of the court passed on April 22, 2015 was not complied by RIMS administration to place an eligible candidate on the post of Nursing Superintendent having the required qualification for it.
Runda, in her petition, mentioned that although, she was the only candidate eligible for the post, discharging administrative work since 2010 another nursing staff was directly posted there without having any prior experience for it.
