Hazaribagh district is at the top of the list of districts of the State that have achieved the target given to them under PM Employment Generation Scheme for the fiscal year 2015-16.
This announcement was made by chairman of State khadi and gramodyog board Jaynandu.
In a especially called meeting in collectorate, Jaynandu said that it is necessary to make the list of beneficiaries for next fiscal year at the start of the budget year 2016-17 to maintain the record. He also stressed upon the need of training programs for the beneficiaries of precious year and coming year.
Addressing the officials DC Mukesh Kumar said that employment generation is a major challenge and after the start of mudra bank scheme, the district administration has successfully fulfilled the target.
Talking about the small and household business activities, he said that there is ample scope of industry and marketing in this district. Kumar said that on 18th we are going to discuss the topic Make in Hazaribagh, in which many distinguished personalities including local MP cum MoS Jayant Sinha will participate.
He thanked the bank officials for their support and for making the district number one in employment generation.
He also appealed to them to take initiatives as early as possible to get the target of next fiscal year.
