Hazaribagh is getting ready to attract more and more tourists in the days to come. The proposal of district administration for beautification and providing more facilities at different spots of tourist interest has been approved by the tourism department of Jharkhand Government. The department has sanctioned an amount of Rs15.47 crore for this purpose.
Hazaribagh, which was known as a most loved destination of tourists in the past is once again trying to regain its pride. The district administration and every officials engaged in this job are trying their best to move on the track rapidly.
After the approval of schemes from the tourism department of Jharkhand government the executive engineer of special division Hazaribagh has written letter to the circle officers of concerned blocks to provide land pieces near the identified tourist sites to construct structures for the comfort of tourists.
In this letter, he had also mentioned about the directives given by deputy director of Tourism Department and DDC Hazaribagh.
In first phase the district administration had chosen Mahamaya temple, Banaso in Vishnugarh block, Mahadev temple of Chalkari, tourist comfort centres in Charhi block, Jagnnath temple Silwar of Sadar block, Burhwa Mahadevtemple of Hazaribagh town, Burhwa Mahadev temple of Kandtari of Barkagaon block, Asthbhuji Mother temple Kandabare of Keredari block and Narsingh Asthan temple of Katkamdagh block.
Detailed estimate is ready, projects and fund has been approved and now work is likely to start from next month.
