DC Mukesh Kumar reviewed the progress of CSR activities going on in the district by the companies operating here in the meeting of district CSR committee held in his office meeting hall.
DC Kumar directed the officials of NTPC to finish the work of installation of mast lights in different parts of the district and the beautification of different quadrangles of the town within the given time frame.
The officials of DVC informed that they have sent a proposal to headquarter for approval of projects allotted to them under CSR activity and hoped that soon they will be in a position to start the work. Representative of CCl informed that they have already started work allotted to their organization and soon they are going to build check dams in Hesalong village as per their commitment.
Jindal Steel and Hemkunt rice mill officials also presented their report on the works allotted to them. They said that they have already submitted the lists of schools and Aanganbari kendras to the concerned departments and they will start making them model after getting approval of the departments.
While reviewing the report of Aanandita steel DC Kumar looked unpleased and directed the officer of the company to take it seriously and complete the work of construction of IIT within given time period.
The representatives of Hindalco and Hazaribagh Chamber of commerce assured the deputy commissioner that they will not only finish the task given to them by the district administration but also contribute in the much needed Swacchata Abhiyaan movement going on in entire country as per the call of PM Modi.
