After receiving ISO 9001:2008 certificate on Monday Hazaribagh district administration is looking fully charged nowadays. DC Mukesh Kumar has decided to implement dress code in Hazaribagh collectorate for all.

Initially, it will be mandatory for every officer, head clerks, clerks and fourth grade employees to put on their prescribed dress at least one day in a week. They will have to wear their I-card everyday. On blazers of collectorate staffs there will be a monogram of Hazaribagh.

The motto behind implementing dress code is to make the officers and staffs easily recognisable in the campus. It will help the people coming in the campus for their work, the dress will help him or her to identify the person whom he wants to meet. After some weeks of experiment this dress code can be made mandatory for all days of the week.

On Monday Chief Minister Raghubar Das had handed over this certificate to DC Mukesh Kumar in a program held at Suchana Bhawan, Ranchi. After coming back DC Mukesh Kumar sat with the officials and staffs of the collectorate and said, “It is a result our collective efforts. Now we will have to work hard to maintain it and to fulfill the requisites of this certificate in future too.” Thanking everyone for this achievement Kumar said that in the days to come people should feel the difference of ISO certified office and without ISO certified office.

On the other hand beautification work has been started in the collectorate campus at war level. Denting and painting work of the buildings is going on, flower pots have been arranged in a new style in almost every building, the trunks of trees inside the campus have been colored with white and saffron colors and work is also going on for the renovation of small park situated inside the campus.

The district administration is planning to install CCTV cameras at all important points of the campus to solve the purpose of security. Small vendors doing their business on movable vehicles inside the campus have been ordered to search a place outside the campus. Very soon vehicles of outsiders will not be allowed inside the campus. Construction of separate toilets for men and women is also included in the future plan.
