After prolonged efforts of Hazaribagh police, the court finally gave order to exhume the dead bodies buried in the graveyard of Habibi Nagar. After receiving the court order district police officials with forensic experts’ team reached to grave yard on Sunday evening and at the time of filing of this report they were waiting for the arrival of magistrate and SDO.

Hazaribagh police had filed an application in the court for exhuming the bodies which died in the bomb explosion of April 17. On Saturday, FSl and PBIT teams had collected evidence from the graves and the house in which the bomb factory was running.

They had also collected some materials used for making the bombs. On Saturday when the teams were in Habibi Nagar the area was full of bad smell due to a body which was brought out by the dogs from the grave. These preliminary evidences helped police in getting the court order.

The injured culprit Intezar Khan has informed the police in his statement that there were nine persons involved in the process of making the bombs. They all got injured due to the blast. Four persons died on same night and were buried in the grave yard, two were injured. Out of two one died during treatment. Police recovered the body of Ekram from an abandoned house of Habibi Nagar after three days of the incidence.

Now police is investigating about rest two persons and is trying to get clues whether they are injured or dead. SP Akhilesh Jha has previously said that there were seven persons on the blast spot. But the statement of injured person has created a puzzle as what is the truth.

It has been decided that after exhuming the bodies from the grave yard, it will be kept by the Murda Kalyan Samiti in the premises of Sadar Hospital Hazaribagh. The work of exhuming the bodies from the grave is to be done in presence of president of Murda Kalan Samiti and social workers Md Khalid, his team, local residents and secretary of the graveyard committee because earlier he had objected the police action by saying that no dead body was buried in this graveyard after April 15.

Police sources said that once the bodies are dug out, it will be sent for post mortem by the police. A team of doctors will examine each and every aspect during the post mortem. The post mortem report is supposed to be submitted within two days. After the submission of post mortem report, further deep investigation of the incident is supposed to continue.

Due to late arrival of magistrate the work of exhuming the bodies was postponed on Sunday and as per sources on Monday morning this work will be done.

While name of a ‘white collar’ man is surfacing as mastermind. The man is said to be the key person of the whole episode of making of bombs, blast and communal clashes at the time of Ramnavmi. This is the statement of injured culprit Intezar Khan alias Vicky who is in police custody after being nabbed by the cops getting treatment in a house of his relative.

In his statement to the police Intezar reportedly has said that, “We were making the bomb in the house of Mumtaz Ansari of Habibi Nagar. During the preparation of explosive the material blasted in which nine persons got injured. After the explosion, the person reached with Ekram to the spot and stopped them to go to the hospital for treatment.”

Both arranged medical help to all the sufferers. They also carried the bodies to the grave yard and buried them in the night in the grave yard of Habibi Nagar.

The police have included the names of both persons in the FIR, but they are still out of reach of Hazaribagh police. As per the statement the police are now looking both as the mastermind of entire incidence.
