The advocates of Hazaribag Bar have demanded a residential colony for the advocates of Hazaribag. They have sent a memorandum to Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
In the memorandum the advocates said that for the safety of the advocates they must live in a colony. They have requested the state government to pass a Bill regarding the safety and residential facilities to the advocates.
They further said that Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and other states have already passed the bill from their respective assemblies.
They have further said that the government has already provided the colony facilities to the administration, forest, police colony and provided the quarters to the employees of the concerned departments.
They said that the huge quantity of land in the district is still vacant, where the government can construct the colony for the advocates. The colony needs 15 acres of land for the colony were the all members of the Hazaribag Bar Association can be adjusted very easily.
