After the announcement of civic body elections in the State, the State Election Commission has issued the directions to all boards and corporations in the State. On the direction of the state election commission, the Hazaribag administration has published the voters list for all the wards. Which is under the jurisdiction of the municipal corporation.
Town commissioner cum Deputy Development Commissioner Prerna Dixit has called an initial meeting after the announcement of election with the officials and employees of the municipal corporation. The date which was issued by the state election commission, the corporation is doing the work according to the prescribed date.
In the first phase the district administration has published the voter list and given time for the correction. After that the final voters list has been published for all the 36 wards of the Hazaribag municipal corporation.
On Monday a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the DC Nancy Sahay to discuss different cells and their nodal officers. After a long discussion the administration has constituted 13 different cells to conduct the smooth election of the civic body.
The administration has also announced the locations for the officers where they will work. The town commissioner cum DDC has been nominated monitoring officer along with additional collector Rakesh Roshan.
