Superintendent of police Karanti Kumar Garidesi said the Maoist was involved in killing several police personnel and local peoples recently near the Khukhara area under the same police station.The arrested Maoist is closed to area commander, Ajay Mahto dasta group. Police have also recovered two can bomb and documents related to his activities in the region.
A senior police officer interrogating the Maoist leader at an undisclosed location, on condition of anonymity, said that during preliminary interrogation, Tikka Ram Tuddu has admitted involvement in more than dozen Naxal incidents.
In recent times, he has been more involved in strategic planning and functioning of the party –police further added Tikka Ram Tuddu has given some information about the plan of the Maoists in Giridih, Hazaribagh and Bokaro along with names of some others cadres who are in regular touch with cadre members-said the other police officers.
The nabbing of the one hard core rebel came without any resistance, said the CRPF official Vijay Yadav.The officer-in charge of Khukhara police station Ranjeet Raosan and others district police forces were pressed into action.The operation was carried out under the supervision of the Giridih SP.
