The city Indian School Certificate (ISC) science topper Prachi Kumari, student of St Xavier’s School, Doranda wants to establish a career in Actuarial Science. She scored 96.5 per cent and has applied for the a vocational course in St Xavier’s College, Kolkata. In a brief interview with The Pioneer, she said her inclination for Mathematics made her chose the different subject.

Hard work is always rewarded. I am happy.
What were your marks in all the subjectsIJ
I got 100 out of 100 marks in Mathematics and Commerce. In Economics, Accounts and English I got 99, 98, 94 marks respectively.
What was you strategyIJ
I gave proper attention in classes and did not rely on coaching classes. My entire preparation was based on self-study.
