Heavy rainfall with hailstorms uprooted many trees at lohardaga and nearby areas on Thursday resulting power crisis subsequently. It resulted the problem of water logging at roads and many houses. The hailstorm started at about 1 pm and uprooted many trees at Kutchery road, Nadia School, collectriate gate, Kisko Mod and jammed the roads. Near district head office many flaxes and electric wires got damaged due to tempest. likewise an electric poll fell over a tire shop and many of vehicles could manage to save them in a great risk. In Bagdu path the road was jammed to half kilometer due to water logging.
Notably for last few days the electric supply had been irregular due to blow of strong winds resultantly harming the electric polls and wires.
