“Establishment of a single window system for different sectors, especially in the agriculture sector that covers approximately 65 per cent of the total population of the State is a matter of appreciation. Concept of solving citizens’ grievances at Jan Samvad through direct conversation is another milestone in curbing disparities,” added the Governor.“Similarly, putting up constant effort in increasing the green cover across the State, the government has planted around 2.69 crore saplings for conserving environment. On business façade too, the State government has eased the norms of doing the business with a motto to lure investors and to open doors of wide range of opportunities for people that will help in curbing migration,” the Governor asserted.“The State will achieve new heights in curtailing unemployment with the ambitious scheme, ‘Shaksham Kaushal Vikash Yojana’ under which the government will train approximately 20 lakh youths in different trades in next five years,” she pointed out.

“The Sate Government is on track to train youths under Skill development project. Various social welfare schemes to provide additional benefits to labourers have been decided. A compensation amount of Rs 1.5 lakh will be given under certain terms and conditions to labourers during emergency,” added the Governor while making the public aware about various ongoing plans and policies of the State government.

The Governor, on the occasion, also outlined the State government projects that would make the people’s life easy and convenient. Discussing the light metro rail project, the Governor added, “Soon in the Capital City, 16.5 km light metro rail project will be initiated to enhance the transportation network in the State. Besides, ‘Mukhyamantri Teerth Yojana’ for elderly people is worth appreciating and will be continued.”

“From free pathological and radiological dialysis centres focusing on the needs of deprived people to starting up residential schools on the concept of Netarhat Residential School and Indira Gandhi Awasiye Vidyadaya, the State government is also committed to open more such schools in South Chotanagpur, Kolhan and Santhal Pargana, besides taking up other major initiatives like opening rehabilitation centres  for rescued kids,” the Governor pointed out.
