The issues of displacement, development and implementation of welfare projects along with maintaining law and order and good governance in Scheduled Areas were deliberated in detail during a meeting chaired by Governor Draupadi Murmu with Members of Parliament from these areas.
Discussing these matters with MPs Ramtahal Choudhary, BD Ram, Sunil Singh and Dheeraj Sahu, the Governor said, “I intend to ensure that basic amenities are readily available to one and all and various developmental and welfare projects reach the targeted beneficiaries. I wish to see Jharkhand progress rapidly.” While addressing the present MPs, she further asked them for suggestions in respect of Scheduled areas.
