Under the Benediction of Blessing of Bhramaleen H H Swami Chinmaynananda, Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro celebrated its 39th School Foundation Day on Wednesday. Kindergarten ceremony and Grand Parents day were also observed on this eve.
A special session on the achievements of ex President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam was conducted. Students were taught “How life of Kalam was transformed and he becomes a Missile Man”, said the school authority.
Addressing to the students Swamini Samkyutananda expressed her views on the Grandparent and Grand children bond which plays a vital role in child’s life. “Grandparents make a marked difference in a child’s life. Grand parenting is an integral part of life as modern society has taken a toll on the traditional nuclear family”, said Swamini.
“Effective grandparents have great power to change lives. They have wisdom to pass on, values and beliefs to share, skills to teach and a culture to honor. Because of their experience and link to the past, grandparents have stories from their own lives and their forebearers”, she added. “And all these things can transforms child's life”, she said.
The day beings with the Paduka Puja by Acharya, Chinmaya Mission, Bokaro, H H Swamini Samkyutananda Sraswati, Vidyalaya Secretary Mahesh Tripathi, and Principal Dr. Ashok Singh. On this occasion students of the school participated in different cultured programmes and activities.
