Under the auspices of SAIL Satellite Township Durga Puja Committee, Durga Puja is being organized with pomp and show for the last 31 years. This year, in the 32nd year, Durga Puja and Kali Puja are being celebrated with great pomp.
Executive Director in-charge of RDCIS, Nirvik Banerjee, Executive Director of SAIL Security Organization and Management Training Institute, Asish Chakraborty, Executive Director of Digital Transformation, SAIL, Ved Prakash, Executive Director of Centre for Engineering and Technology SET S.K. Verma and Executive Director, RDCIS, SK Kar jointly inaugurated the 32nd grand pandal of Maa Durga in SAIL Satellite Township in the presence of other senior officials.
On this occasion, employees of SAIL Ranchi, their family members and devotees of Mata were present in large numbers. Chairman of the Puja Committee, Nirmal Pradhan said on this occasion that 'Organizing the puja this year is possible due to the blessings of Mata Rani and the hard work and dedicated approach of the committee members. CCTC and safety precautions are being taken with the help of fire extinguishers.
After the inauguration, a colorful cultural program was organized in the pandal in front of Goddess Durga, which was greatly appreciated by the devotees of Goddess Durga.
In organizing the puja, President Nirmal Pradhan, General Secretaries Sachin Kumar and Shravan Pradhan, Treasurer Mithilesh Kumar Singh, Captain R.K. Jha, Shailesh Bharti, Pankaj Priya, Bablu Ghosh, Shibashis Mukherjee, Ramranjan Chaudhary along with others and due to the hard work of countless workers, such a big event was organized.
This year the decoration of the puja pandal has been given a grand look based on 'Sthapapya Kala'. The 50 feet high and 55 feet wide pandal is attracting devotees. The entry gate of the pandal has circular decorations on the series of carved pillars on both sides. The sanctum sanctorum of the pandal has been decorated with various pictures and colors in accordance with the 15 feet high huge statue of Maa Durga. The idol of Mata has been made with the special printing method of Ranchi's famous sculptor Ajay Kumar Pal.
Sachin Kumar said that various competitions and cultural programs have been organized during the day and evening on Maha Saptami, Maha Ashtami and Maha Navami.
