The State Government is working on preparing a ‘State Training Policy’ to be formulated in consonance to all the departments of the State.
This citizen centric governance will train selected cadre officers from class one to class three categories including gazetted as well as non-gazetted officers and inculcate them with knowledge, skill and motivation for better career prospect. Being at the initial phase, it is being framed by the Shri Krishna Institute of Public Administration (SKIPA) officers who will handover the process to State Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasa department within a month.
An official at SKIPA on the request for anonymity said, “Every department will nominate a nodal officer or training manager for this training policy.” “It is important to achieve the three career oriented qualities via training for the selected officers as it would benefit in acquiring the exact skills when promoted to higher posts,” said a SKIPA Joint Director.
like every policy, this too is a long-term plan. Another SKIPA Joint Director said, “In the coming days the policy documents would be compiled and presented to the cabinet. It will then be sent to the Central Government.”
