Divisional Anti- Corruption Bureau team has nabbed one more Government staff from Barkagaon block of Hazaribagh district on Saturday. Team led by DSP Pran Ranjan and Surendra Shankar arrested revenue clerk of Barkagaon block Amal Kant Das taking a bribe of Rs2000 from informer Mahendra Prasad Kushwaha.
According to the informer the revenue clerk was demanding bribe to give his report in the SDO court related to a case under Section 144. He said the divisional office of ACB and as per their direction he settled the matter with the revenue clerk on a promise of giving Rs2000 bribe.
On Saturday he went to block office and handed over Rs2000 to the clerk. Alert ACB team members immediately took him in custody. later the team members checked his Aalmirah and table in the office as well as his house and then departed for Ranchi.
