As the BJP led government in the State was busy in celebrating its four years rule of good governance and development, the principal opposition party Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) today said that it is government of hunger, terror and corruption.
Addressing a press conference on Friday, JMM executive president and Opposition Leader Hemant Soren said that at one side the CM ordered for the scrutinizing of property of the COs and BDOs but on the other side the CM has pending file of corrupt IAS officers given by Central Bureau of Investigation. The CM is not taking any initiative on it, he added. Criticising the State government on various issues Soren said, “The government has completely failed in redressal of people’s grievances be it the case of para teachers, MGNREGA staffs, sanitation worker and sevika sahayika all of them are on road due to bad governance of the State government.”
Hitting hard on employment issue, Soren said “To organise big summits like Momentum Jharkhand, Agricultural Summit and now upcoming Skill Summit can’t provide job for the youths of the State. The claim of government on job issues is completely false.
As according to the report of United Nation Development Programme, Jharkhand ranked 26 positions. Niti Ayog’s worst 111 districts of the country 19 are from Jharkhand.
The State government is doing nothing but only cheating the people as all the departments are being involved in only amassing money.”
“The government has spent Rs325 crore only in advertising for various summits and scheme. In order to do so the government only busy in giving shining to faces of the ministers.
The government is saying that it is spending money to save culture of the State through improving tourism but is a big question that how much money the government has spent on development of tourism industry in the State” he further added.
Speaking on the corruption issue Soren said, “As government is patting itself for its development work in last four years all the government is only help to increase corruption as a numbers of scams came to light during the Raghubar government such as Jharkraft scam, blanket scam, land scam, mining scam and many more. All the leaders of the party are involved in land acquiring. They are looting land of tribals at meager price and giving it to their capitalist friends on higher price.”
“The government has no money to improve electricity condition and traffic condition but it has money to go on foreign tour like Dubai, Las Vegas, etc” he added.
