“IIT syllabus in a two year coaching centre is completed in 1.5 years but I and my team make sure to complete it in 9 months,” said Khandelwal. For Ribhu, a resident of Hinoo who studied Physics and Mathematics under Khandelwal and Chemistry by Tapan Bhattacharya, it is important to clear the basics of a subject instead of devoting hours for preparation.
Ribhu’s father Niranjan Kumar is posted as Controller Communication Accounts in Department of Telecom while mother RekhaKumari is a Government Doctor.Interestingly, Ribhu till class tenth was passionate for sports but later he ignored the hobby and started focusing for IIT entrance exam.Khandelwal said he is pleased to teach students like Ribhu. “It is due to this passion, I and my team selected 10 students through an entrance conducted for over 400 aspirants this year. I hope to coach them as well,” added the Commissioner.Ribhu has scored 333 marks out of 504 marks and is mulling to do research after completing B. Tech in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur.
