Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) on Saturday, criticised the State government and said that it is trying to stifle voice of the party by misuse of some government agencies.

Talking to media at press meet, JVM (P) General Secretary and former Minister of Sports Department, Bandhu Tirkey said that the State government is trying to lessen his influence in South Chotanagpur area just before the upcoming general elections by implicating him in false case of scam.

“As general election is round the corner the State government is misusing Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) against me and implicating me in false cases. The State government is implicating me for scam of Rs 1,440,0000 in National Games case. It is an effort of putting pressure on me but I will not come under its pressure and will knock the door of Supreme Court where I will file Quashing plea. Before this the Central Bureau of Investigation filed closure report in the case of disproportionate of asset against me,” he added.

Clarifying his stand Tirkey said that whatever decision he had taken it was completely under cognizance of concerned government officers. “The circumstances of the time forced him to take the decisions as the organizing the game on time was important at the time because the scheduled time of the mega event had been postponed many a times,” he added.

Alleging directly on NDA government he said that it is politically torturing him and trying to stifle his voice. “Against the political conspiracy hatched by the government the people of the State will teach him in the upcoming Parliamentary and the State Assembly elections,” he added.
