The State Government on Thursday formed a Cabinet sub-committee to decide on domicile policy of the State.
According to a notification issued today Finance Minister Rajendra Prasad Singh, Transport Minister Champai Soren and Urban Development Minister Suresh Paswan would be the members of the sub-committee. The sub-committee would submit a draft domicile policy to the Government after study and discussion on the matter. The notification issued on the eve of Assembly's Winter Session is said to blunt the attack of the Opposition as well as the ruling party members — including Bandhu Tirkey, who have planned to corner the Government on the contentious issue.
