Alleging deep-rooted corruption in the Hemant Soren-led coalition, former Chief Minister Arjun Munda branded the Government as ‘incompetent’. Munda said that the Government was focused more in individual development than that of the State.
Talking to media persons in Dhanbad on Wednesday, Munda said that Soren Government was engaged in counting its achievements at a time when “loot of minerals” was on rise in the State.
“Hemant Soren Government is engaged with loot of coal, iron ore and several other minerals. Anyone can imagine the level of corruption in Soren-led Government where Chief Secretary asks for commission from SPs (for Coal theft),” blamed Munda.
The governance in the State has miserably failed; Ministers, bureaucrats and officials are completely imbalanced, he said.
Attacking on the present Government Munda charged the Chief Minister for protecting the tainted Ministers. “Despite suspending the Ministers CM accompanying them in their chopper”, blamed Munda. “As the Government is being run by remote control, CM (Soren) has no guts to drop the tainted Ministers,” he added.
Munda on the occasion also appealed JVM (P) chief Babulal Marandi to join the BJP to make Jharkhand prosperous. “Development is the need of the hour and Babulal should join hands for the holistic development of the State,” Munda said.
