On the occasion of completion of four years of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) led government the Congress party termed the performance of the government as complete failure on all issues and stated that the government lying on the issue of development.
Addressing a press conference on Friday State Congress president Ajoy Kumar said, “Even after 70 years of independence there are cases of hunger deaths, which have maligned the image of the State in the country. But on other side the government is politicizing the issue which is very shameful. What is most agonising is that cases of hunger death come from schedule cast and schedule tribes.”
Hitting hard on the government Kumar said, “Closing of 5000 schools is biggest mistake of the government. The NDA government has not been able to recruit teachers in the State but it has mitigated the education sectors in the villages by not hearing the voice of para teachers.”
Critisising on the issue of a large number of job provided by the State government he said, “One can’t believe on job data provided by Raghubar government that 35 lakh got job during four years. But it is definite that with 3.5 crore population of the State if 10 per cent will get job then not a single person will unemployed here. You can ask it on roads that the government has given job to how many people. The government claimed that 25 thousand people got job in Khel Gaon, Ranchi but maximum of them refuse to join jobs saying who would go to other city for only Rs 8 thousand to Rs10 thousand.”
Speaking on issue of corruption Kumar said, “The government is advertising in news papers that the corruption-free State but when we open second page then there is report that by fake withdrawal Rs. 18 crore of cheating for purchasing blanket for poor at the Governments agency called Jharcraft. In mining scam of Rs. 1113 crore involvement of Shah Brothers came to light just some time earlier.
The situation of law and order, crime and molestation in Jharkhand left other states far behind. The NCRB report says that the State is number one in the country in poor law and order situation.
More than 18000 cases of murder, abduction molestation are registered in last four years. It is announced that the State is Open Defecation Free but a large numbers of cases of fake withdrawal of fund came to light as only digging pit on the name of making latrine room.”
