Hazaribag was given the gift of Akshaya Patra Kitchen and Center for Tribal Studies on Friday. These two huge projects were brought to the ground due to the efforts of MP Co-Chairman Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance Jayant Sinha. Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan inaugurated these projects and dedicated them to the people of the area. A large number of students and area residents were present on this occasion.

Akshaypatra's kitchen, one of the 5 largest kitchens in the world, has been constructed in Mukundganj, Hazaribagh at a cost of Rs. 27 crore. This is Akshaya Patra's 69th kitchen.Jayant Sinha had got it approved during his tenure as Minister of State for Aviation.Due to his efforts, the Airport Authority of India provided an amount of Rs. 20 crore from its CSR head for this construction. In the coming days, this kitchen will provide nutritious midday meal daily to 1 lakh children of 565 government schools of the district.

On this occasion, Jayant Sinha said that this is a historic day of great pride and joy for Hazaribag.I would like to thank the Governor that he accepted our invitation and we are inaugurating this with his blessings. Akshaypatra is a huge organization, whose kitchens are operated in other countries besides India. At present this organization is providing nutritious and quality food to 23 lakh children every day.Prime Minister Modi has also praised this institution. This organization was founded by our guardian Murli Manohar Joshi. I salute Akshaypatra for giving this huge kitchen to Hazaribag. Akshaypatra will continue to provide welfare to the children of Hazaribagh.

I thank all the public representatives of the area for their cooperation.I express my gratitude to all the institutions including Coal India and SIDBI, who provided us cooperation.I also thank all the officers of the Jharkhand government and district administration for their cooperation. This kitchen will generate a large number of employment. This will also directly benefit local farmers and traders, which will increase their income.Under the leadership of Modi, we have inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of many important projects in Hazaribag Lok Sabha.A 4 thousand MW power plant is being constructed in Patratu located in Ramgarh at a cost of Rs. 20 thousand crores. Here 6 thousand people have got employment directly and indirectly.

Hazaribag will now send not only coal but also electricity to the country. We are building a national highway at a cost of Rs.5 thousand crores.Under the Bharatmala project, a super highway will be built, through which Hazaribagh can be reached from Kolkata in just 4 hours.Vande Bharat Express and intercity trains have been operated. This has been possible with an investment of Rs.4 thousand crores.Jayant Sinha said that like Hazaribag, in Ramgarh too we are bringing Akshaya Patra kitchen on the ground. Both these kitchens are worth Rs.60 crores. There are many developmental projects in Hazaribag but I am most happy with Akshaya Patra Kitchen because from here we will provide nutritious food to 1.5 lakh children of the area daily. All this work is being done under the leadership of Modi ji.Children will get three benefits from these kitchens. They will develop physically and mentally, their school attendance will increase and their ability to study will improve.
