As the State woke up with the news of Indian Defence Forces launching coordinated attack on nine terrorist camp sites in Pakistan and POJK, Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, former CMs of the State and politicians cutting across party lines hailed the action against terror outfits across the border on Wednesday.
Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar posted a picture of ‘Operation Sindoor’ on X and simply wrote, “Bharat Mata ki Jai. Jai Hind.”
In a similar post, Chief Minister Hemant Soren put up ‘Operation Sindoor’ picture and wrote, “Jai Hind.”
Former CM and former Union Minister Arjun Munda posted a poster of PM Modi with a slogan, “Identify, track and punish” written on it. He wrote, “This is new India. It will enter (their houses) and will kill (them) too.”
Former CM and BJP State president Babulal Marandi said, “Under the leadership of respected Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, Indian Army has started a decisive battle against Islamic terrorism respecting the public sentiments. Indian Army, in its usual style, has displayed amazing valor and courage by entering the enemy's home and destroying the terrorist hideouts. The heads of the terrorists and their leaders who even dare to look at our country will be crushed. Bharat Mata Ki Jai!”
Similarly, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee president Keshav mahto Kamlesh, MLAs, MPs and other senior leaders also hailed the defence forces’ attack on Pakistani terror camps.
JMM MP Mahua Maji said, "This attack to safeguard our country's self-esteem is a welcome step... I appeal to the people of the country to maintain communal harmony... Neither country should attack civilians because then this attack could take another direction. If a nuclear war starts, then not just India or Pakistan, but the whole world will have to suffer the consequences. Therefore, we should act with patience... This name (Operation Sindoor) was chosen for the women whose husbands were killed... The Prime Minister selected this name, so some politics is involved in this."
